Opel Showrooms
Opel is the first car brand in Slovenia that welcomes not only owners but also their dogs in its showrooms, ensuring their well-being with special corner setups and treats. The Dog-Friendly project was introduced in 2015 to raise awareness about the safe transportation of dogs; at that time, every third household in Slovenia had a dog. Each dog experiences car rides in its own way. While some feel great, for others, the ride can be a significant source of stress. It is important for owners to ensure their safe transport, as safety for all participants in the ride comes first. In our showrooms, not only the puppies of families interested in purchasing a new vehicle or visiting an Opel service workshop are welcome. All passing dogs are invited to have a place to rest, water for thirst, and a snack for extra energy!
Opel and Ljubljana Shelter
In 2022, we celebrated a decade of collaboration with the Ljubljana Zoo, which Opel supports with its commitment to environmental responsibility through a fleet of Combo and Movano vehicles, enabling the Zoo and Ljubljana Shelter to care for and transport animals.
At the Ljubljana Shelter, we also opened an Opel corner, where we demonstrate safe dog transportation in half of a car and highlight important points that dog owners need to know with descriptive signs.
